This delicate layering piece will add a dash of artistry to any outfit. Color and texture layered side by side make each one of these scarves a rare treasure. It is light enough to wear every season which makes it superb for travel.
Each scarf is handmade by textile designer Lynn Reiter Weinberg in her GA. Studio using a 2.5” merlot wine colored lace filigree woven acrylic yarn and 12 other assorted yarns in various textures and colors. The assortment of yarns are carefully laid out and then sewn together in a loop="" cowl so complete you have to do is slip it over your head. The wider lace yarn is also handwoven with 5 strands of yarns in varying colors and textures.
This is another way to wear the scarf. Hold the scarf from the cowl circle part opposite where it is wrapped in the back. The long tail sides will then fall to the bottom, Holding that part place it around your neck and bring it to the front and pull the 2 tails through the loop. Whether you are dressing up a casual ensemble or adding the finishing touch to something special you will add a splash of color to your look with this rare cowl scarf and celebrate your diversity.
Due to the diversity of the various yarns items will vary slightly in coloration. This makes each scarf special and special.
