This is a vintage Fortino Guerrero pottery pitcher, featuring a green drip glaze over red clay. I got this at an estate auction. Made in Mexico, specifically associated with the Guerrero pottery tradition. Handcrafted from red clay with a distinctive green drip glaze. The pitcher has a rustic appearance with the glaze creating a drip effect down the sides. Often signed by the artist, but this one is not signed Suitable for decorative purposes but not recommended for food use due to the glaze. It is in superb vintage condition. 5.5 inches in height.
